SUMMARY:Cardboard Box Races for Wawa Winter Carnival
DESCRIPTION:Registration 1:00pm – Races start at 1:30pm. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A HELMET & SIGN A WAIVER! \n• The event is open and free for all ages\n• Boxes must be constructed mainly of cardboard\n• Accepted Items: duct tape\, tin foil\, garbage bags\, shower curtains\, string\n• Unacceptable Items: wood\, aluminum\, hard plastic\, steel\, fibreglass etc.\n• A traditional sled MAY NOT be used as base\n• Push-off at start by non-rider is permitted\n• No limit on number of passengers or size of box\n• Participants are asked to remove boxes/remnants at finish of their race\n• Each entry will run individually against the clock. The clock will stop when the entire entry\, including riders\, cross the finish line \nPrizes for each of the following categories: Most Creative\, Farthest\, Best Team Spirit \n
