The internships will be based at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre (GLFC), 1219 Queen Street East in Sault Ste. Marie. This is a paid internship, 37.5 hours/week, pay rate is approximately $1100/week. The interns will learn techniques of environmental sampling and analysis working with CFS research staff in the field and laboratory.

Who can apply:

◾University and college graduates who have graduated within the last five years from an accredited college or university. Candidates must be graduates of environmental science (or related) post-secondary degree or diploma programs.

◾All First Nations, Metis and Inuit graduates are encouraged to apply. As collaborators on the project, priority will be given to members of Batchewana and Garden River First Nations.

Duration of the internships: December 2, 2019 – March 31, 2020 – 18 weeks
